New customers opening an account before the deadline and who have a balance of £1,000 or more on 31 October, 2007 will receive 500 Clubcard points. Those who have £1,000 or more in that account on 30 April, 2008 will then receive a further 500 Clubcard points.

Savers choosing Tesco will also benefit from competitive rates of up to 5.75%.(Gross/ AER per year)
